so yesterday was a leap day :)

had GP ct, then went to climb the 15m walls at safra with Eli :D fun and happy times ensured before after and during. HAHA. and a lot of funny and serious discussions.

we ought to do this more often. amused look.

finished two routes, tried two others, so attempted four in total. a bit slow, because halfway we digressed to go and watch some other JC people, (we hypothesized they were the climbing club) lead climb the opposite walls :0 prooo. and lead climb the 25m walls. :O! haha. and we discovered how noob we are without the level 2 :O!

lol. at least we are inching our way along to improvement. i can do one of the left lanes! (i say abashedly)

lunch was a funny arguement about where to go, discussion of why both of us shouldnt eat out together, and how that if you want to eat, you might as well pay good money for good quality. so we headed to eat fish and co. HAHA. luckily it was only the two of us, the guys would have screamed to see both of us polishing off everthing. HAHAHAHAHA.

after that we headed for food again! HAHA. we only spend $$ on food lah please. and planning for future fun times like going kayaking, cycling and whatever.

after a long hiatus and many weeks of activity, BTC08 is over :)

mixed feelings about it, but major thanks goes out to training comm :D - the group of highly dedicated lunatics, well versed in outdoor skills, pyro-mechanics, hole digging, and rock throwing. ohyeah. we even made up a training comm song how cool is that.

finally i just feel that as a batch, 23 is unforgetable in a lot of ways, even though we seemed to have more ups and downs as compared to other batches. And i hope we all remember our happy times - kayaking, MAC, EOY Ex, Fansipan, and fooling around in general. :)

hello world. what a stressful january. but im so glad the stress is not getting to me yet.

i am really really thankful for this great bunch of people called the TRAINING COMM HAHAHA. hanging out together results in a lot of hilarity, bullying of certain unfortunate souls, and general nonsense. amused look.

well and so we have come full circle and batch 24 will be going for their btc in about three weeks time. remembering the crazy times of 5 equally mad girls and their antics in ubin 1 year ago, something makes me want to relieve it agin. as well as the good times up the mountains, training, when everything ran linearly and we seemed destined for the best that i expected when i joined this cca. then the good feeling would fade. this cca provided one of the best experiences of my jc life..

good, but i always felt that we could have been better.

something more...than just hi-bye at all the session, hi-bye in the corridors. something that goes beyond sitting together early in the morning. some high that lasts far beyond expeditions.
