hello world. family holiday to korea on 2nd dec. cold to colder. shivers.
meanwhile my so called studies are rotting away. tralala. happy look
eoy ex to vietnam was, hmm life changing. but i don't think i will describe it in full details. somethings don't need to be proclaimed to the whole world. for now i will just adjust back to spore for 4 days, then back on the airplane again. i hope its T2, T1 is starting to get a bit too, boring.
FSP was a good climb, managed to hit about 3000m (reached the second peak) before we turned back. As an estimate, the real peak was at 3104m. Unfinished business will hopefully bring 23 back to FSP again. whee.
Climb down from base camp was the most difficult climb i ever took. Those who were there would know. Being sick on the way down a steep mountain like FSP is horrible, and it really tested my limits to force myself to continue going and not holding the rest up by stopping. The miserable thing about it was that it was not really inhibiting, just nagging in the way that it makes you want to stop and freeze and not climb even though you know you can. brr.
SL component - Niem Tin. The finished products weren't what we expected, but from the conditions we worked in, and how much effort we poured into it, the eoy comm and odac 23 have all the reason to be proud of themselves.
sigh. miss the kids. should get something nice in korea to send over to them.
hate packing.

this is it. 3 more days before we hit hanoi, and i HAVE NOT PACKED MY PACK. i need jumbo ziplocs!!!! (argh, army market here i come) still oscillating between putting the day pack in, or carrying it as a handcarry luggage. hrumm.
problem is packing ALL the winterwear. plus i will have to carry the snakes and ladders board (i guess), so thats extra. PLUS, i have a HUGE ass box of books that will tag along with me.
packing is such a chore, esp, squeezing everything into 55 litres, and making sure its only 3/4 filled. grumbles
but the excitement is starting to bubble up. hopefully when we reach there we will be all hyped up. yay. but for the moment, this is insane. trying to get everything settled, disemminating information like a madcow.. etc etc.
there will be two reasons why the club will not summit togehter : one, you are injured, two, you do not want to make it up yourself.

lol yesterday's match was exhilarating. watched with bro (utd fan) and dad (pool fan) and was getting slammed. especially when man utd scored twice, and at the 82th minute i thought we were already going to roll over and die, until the 91st minute! WOOHOO!
haha during breaks i would intermittently suan geets hahahahaah! zomg so funny! everytime she suans arsenal and celebrates man utd goal, the equalizer will come right after! hoho. eat your words geet! :P haha and was like exchanging sms other arsenal fans.
but seriously, even though we had so much possession, we werent getting anywhere. the shots were either all blocked or scuffled, and alumnia kept on doing weird things like coming out the box unwarranted for. he came out even where there was an arsenal player already marking the fella... then he gave away the second goal.... time to get a new goalie. someone like cech or van der sar. can't afford to keep on drawing. and utd were super dangerous on the counter, im surprised that they didnt manage to get shots in properly. the back four looked very shaky and inexperienced compared the the utd back four.
BUT but. we showed more fighting spirit and courage. a goal in the 91st minute is no joke, especially when you are playing against the other table topper. wheeeeeeeee. looks like a good team in the making. a few more seasons, and we will have treble winners. fabregas was brilliant yesterday. wheeeeeeeee.

PW IS OFFICIALLY OVERRRRR. yay. now can slack ass off and sweat on our results.
then again, "slack ass off" is kinda an oxymoron, because there is a SHITLOAD of stuff to do before i fly off next sunday. garn. the snakes and ladders board is still awaiting painting, catalogue is still tottering on finishing, blah blah blah, as well as all the miscellanous details. i need to write myself another action plan.
but its so surreal to say im flying off for the EOY ex we have been planning for nearly ONE YEAR. i think all the preliminary excitement had been used up during the planning process, because all im thinking now is why are we still not in vietnam huh huh huh. but the two weeks of cip will probably be the the two weeks where i will experience adrenaline plus stress rolled up in one.
but it still amazes me that most people still take fansipan very lightly. lol. and just dont come for pt. or dont take pt seriously. haha. mrle ong and mspa ng asked both their friends, who said its tough. not withstanding we are going in winter, climbing in 3 days. lol.
amused look. more soon
